Services Offered

Algarve Angels© provides a range of administrative support services designed to facilitate a smooth transition for foreigners relocating to Portugal. Acting on behalf of our clients, we manage essential administrative tasks, including but not limited to, residency registration, social security setup, healthcare enrollment, banking arrangements, vehicle import assistance, school enrollment for children, and insurance setup.

Our role is to streamline these processes and handle the necessary paperwork, ensuring compliance with Portuguese regulations and relieving clients of the complexities of local administrative procedures. While we endeavor to complete all tasks promptly and accurately, the exact scope of each service may vary depending on individual needs and the requirements of local authorities.

Algarve Angels© is committed to providing reliable and efficient support, tailored to meet the unique requirements of each client. Please note that our services do not extend to legal or financial advice, although we may refer clients to trusted partners for specialized assistance if needed.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure efficient and effective service delivery, clients of Algarve Angels© are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information and documentation required for each administrative process. This includes identification documents, proof of residency, financial information, and any other documents requested by our team to fulfill specific service requirements.

​

Clients are also responsible for responding promptly to any inquiries from Algarve Angels© and to attend any necessary appointments in person, such as the CRUE (Certificate of Residency) appointment at the Town Hall or the AIMA (Immigration and Asylum Services) appointment. For all other processes, clients may grant Algarve Angels© Power of Attorney to allow us to act on their behalf with local authorities.

Additionally, clients are expected to review and understand the scope of services requested and to communicate any changes in their needs or circumstances that may affect the services provided. Failure to provide requested documents, attend required appointments, or communicate necessary information may result in delays or an inability to complete the requested services.

Please note that any delays or non-completion of services due to client negligence will still incur the agreed charges, regardless of service completion.

Payment Terms

Algarve Angels© provides clients with a detailed quote before beginning any service, ensuring transparency and clarity regarding costs. Upon acceptance of the quote, clients are required to make a 50% downpayment, payable through a registered invoice. This initial payment confirms the start of our services. The remaining 50% will be invoiced upon completion of the agreed services.

Clients may request an extended payment date of up to 30 days from the invoice date. All payments are to be made by the agreed due dates specified on the invoices. We accept payments via bank transfer and major credit cards. Algarve Angels© adheres to a no-hidden-fees policy; clients are only billed for the services outlined in the initial quote. Additional fees will apply only if clients request further services beyond the original agreement, and such fees will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

If payment is delayed beyond the agreed due date, the interest rate of 2% will be applied to the outstanding balance. Failure to settle payments may result in a suspension of services.

Third-Party Services and Partners

For certain specialized services, Algarve Angels© collaborates with a network of trusted third-party partners who possess proven expertise in their fields.

Our partners are selected solely based on their quality and expertise, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of service. Algarve Angels© does not receive any financial gain or commission from these referrals, allowing us to provide objective recommendations that prioritize each client’s best interests.

If clients require additional services that fall outside our standard offerings, we can refer them to these reliable partners to meet their specific needs. While Algarve Angels© carefully selects and collaborates with these trusted partners, please note that they operate independently. Algarve Angels© is not liable for the actions, advice, or outcomes provided by any third-party service provider.

Clients are encouraged to communicate directly with third-party providers regarding specific details and fees associated with their services.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

Algarve Angels© is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all client information. We collect, store, and process personal data solely for the purpose of delivering our services in compliance with Portuguese data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

All client information is treated as confidential and is only shared with third parties when necessary to complete requested services, such as residency registration, banking setup, or insurance arrangements. In these cases, information is shared exclusively with trusted entities, and only the data required to complete the specific service is disclosed.

Algarve Angels© implements strict security measures to protect client data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Clients have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information at any time. For further details on our data handling practices, clients may refer to our Privacy Policy or contact us directly.

Liability Limitations

Algarve Angels© strives to provide accurate and reliable services; however, we do not guarantee that all information and processes will be free from error or delay, as these may depend on external factors and third-party responses. Algarve Angels© shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services, nor for any decisions or actions taken by clients based on the information provided.

Our services are intended to assist with administrative processes and general guidance. Clients are responsible for seeking independent legal, financial, or professional advice when needed. Algarve Angels© is not liable for outcomes resulting from reliance on our services in place of such professional advice.

In cases where third-party services are recommended or arranged by Algarve Angels©, please note that these third-party providers operate independently. Algarve Angels© is not responsible for the actions, advice, or outcomes associated with any third-party service provider.

Intellectual Property

Clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use our content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with the services provided. Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or unauthorized use of our content without prior written permission from Algarve Angels© is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

By using our services, clients acknowledge and agree to respect the intellectual property rights of Algarve Angels©, refraining from any actions that would infringe upon these rights.

Termination of Services

Algarve Angels© reserves the right to terminate or suspend services at any time if clients fail to meet their responsibilities, including but not limited to providing necessary documents, responding to communications, or making timely payments. In the event of termination due to client non-compliance, all outstanding fees will remain due, and no refunds will be issued for incomplete services caused by client negligence.

Clients may also choose to terminate services at any time by providing written notice to Algarve Angels©. If a client terminates the service before completion, they will be invoiced for any work completed up to the termination date. Refunds for any prepayments will be issued only at the discretion of Algarve Angels©, based on the proportion of work already completed.

Algarve Angels© is committed to resolving any issues that arise and encourages clients to communicate openly regarding any changes or concerns about their service needs.

Amendments to Terms

Algarve Angels© reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions only when necessary due to changes or updates in Portuguese law or administrative processes that impact the services we provide. In the event of such a change, Algarve Angels© will notify clients directly through email or other communication channels.

Clients are encouraged to review these terms periodically, though any significant amendments will be communicated in advance. Continued use of our services following such amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from or related to the services provided by Algarve Angels© shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
